Angeline A.( Malar) Carachilo, 89, formerly of Carbondale died Wednesday in Lakeland, Florida.

Born and raised in Mayfield, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Pauline Caserta Talerico, Sr. She was a graduate of Mayfield High School, class of 1946, with honors and had been employed by Barre Sportswear Co., Carbondale and retiring from Gentex Corp., Simpson.

Angie was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish, Carbondale and the Golden Age Senior Citizens of Simpson. She enjoyed bowling and loved baking especially holiday cookies for friends and family.

She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary and husband Vance Smith, Lakeland, Fl, Denise Best, Carbondale, three sisters, Mary Haynos, Scranton, Pauline Osborne, CA, and Betty Nolan, Carbondale, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Malar, two sisters, Antoinette Singemi and Jenny Lukasik, six brothers, Anthony, Thomas, Angelo, Frank, James and Joseph.

The funeral will be Tuesday from the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Main St., Simpson with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church St., Carbondale. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Park, Montdale.  Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 PM.
