Obituaries » Ambrose A. Dombroski September 21, 1959 - July 15, 2025 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Ambrose A. Dombroski, 65, of Scranton died Tuesday at his home. Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Ambrose G. “Chip” and Marie L. LeDonne Dombroski. Ambrose was a 1977 graduate of Lakeland High School, Scott Township and a 1982 graduate in Psychology from Marywood University. He completed his graduate of Nursing in 1997, from Marywood. Ambrose was employed over the years, as an R.N. Supervisor at a couple of Long Term Nursing Homes in Scranton. He is survived by a brother, Anthony Dombroski, Hanover, MD. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, July 23rd from 4 PM to 6 PM in the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Main St., Simpson, a service will be at 6:00 PM. Interment of the cremains will be in Dunmore Cemetery.
