Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Amelia Washeleski, 95 of Simpson died Friday at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. Born in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late John and Petronella Baublus Kondrat. She attended Burdick School, Elkdale and in addition to being a homemaker she was employed by the Forest City Dress Factory. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Amelia attended St. Michael’s Church, Simpson She is survived by a son David M. Washeleski and wife Katie,Simpson, with whom she resided, son in law , Edmund Wahseleski, Simpson, two grandsons, John and Jacob Washeleski, a great granddaughter, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Washeleski, two brothers, John and Joseph and two sisters, Helen Gulbin and Aldona O’Boyle. A graveside service will be conducted at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Forest City in the spring. In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, Clarks Summit, Pa 18411.
