Ann M. Case, 76, of Carbondale died Monday at home.  Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Evanionka and Eleanor Rude. Ann was a graduate of the 1968 class of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale.

She had been employed in the garment industry, working for several shops including Siana Sportswear Co., Carbondale. Ann was a lifelong member of the Berean Baptist Church, Carbondale and a choir member.

Ann enjoyed helping others and was a member of the Food Pantry / Bread Basket , Carbondale volunteer staff.  Hunting and fishing were outdoor activities shared with her family and most importantly she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild.

She is survived by her three children, Mary Eckerman, Jermyn, Gerald Case and fiancée Sara Whiting, Jermyn and Kelsey Case, Carbondale, thirteen grandchildren, Kendra Tyler, Brandon and Aaron Smith, Meadow Jones, Natalie Whiting, Isabella Case, Gerald Case Jr., Miguel, Alijah, Alex, Emmanuel and Carmen Doblado and Tiera Knapp and a great grandchild, Landyn Tyler.

Ann was preceded in death by a twin  sister, Mary Hannon.

The funeral service will be Friday at 7:00 PM in the Joseph Scotchlas Funeral Home/Oliver Shifler Scotchlas FH, 621 Main St., Simpson by Pastor Deborah Loessy,of the Berean Baptist Church. Interment will be at Clinton Center Cemetery, Waymart.  Family and friends may visit on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
