Even though I only knew him for a short time, I'm so glad I got to visit with him, especially since my Dad's passing in January. He was a good roommate for my Dad and visiting Mr. Batten was also therapy for me. I enjoyed our time together and his sense of humor. We always joked about the room across the hall that has been under renovations for at least 8 months. He always enjoyed the solar powered animations on his window sill I brought him too. I will never forget him and appreciate the short time we had together. God Bless the Batten family and thanks for sharing your father and grandfather with me.

Brad: sorry about your dads passing. He had a deep impact on my and other boys growing up. He's part of the reason we are the men we are today. God bless him

Brad, I'm so sorry to read that your dad passed away. Your dad and mom were so special to me. And they were my parents best friends. I'll always remember our times growing up together with them and the Soulby's and VItali's and Scalpi's. Now they're all together again . And I was so very sorry to read that George passes too. Deepest sympathy, Karen Bazzarri (Tiberi)
