Jones, 75, of Forest City and formerly of Hawthorne New Jersey died Sunday at the Carbondale Nursing Home. She was the widow of Art Jones. Born in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Orlando and Connie Malendrena Martino. She attended New Jersey public schools and was a homemaker. Carol enjoyed shopping, cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Johnson, Forest City, two grandchildren, Jamee and husband Pat Ruddy and Gina Horgan, and two great grandchildren, Michael and Erin.
