Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Clara H. burke, 96, of Carbondale passed away on Monday at the home of her daughter, Michele Borosky. Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Lucy Verrill Stevens. Clara attended Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. She had been employed as a private duty nurse’s aide. Clara spent many memorable times in her camper at Lake Henry. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved being with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the aides and nurses from Home Health Care & Hospice. She is survived by her children, Robert Burke and wife Sherri; Michele Borosky and husband JB, all of Carbondale and Cindy Freely and husband Peter, Clifford, Larry Gallup and wife Becky, and Debbie Bickelman, fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two children, Ronald Stevens, Sharon Dearie, two grandchildren, John Marvin Dearie, Ron Stevens, four siblings, Clearance Stevens, Mary Mizianty, Louise Jones and Lois Dombrosky. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Clifford Valley Cemetery.
