Cemetery Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Daniel J “ Buddy” Fenner, 83, of Carbondale died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Born in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of the late Daniel H. and Cecilia Grippo Fenner. He was a graduate of Snyder High School, Jersey City, NJ. Daniel had been employed by the US Postal Service as a mail carrier and later he was a baker in Scranton. Daniel was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, now Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale. He had a great devotion to the Blessed Mother. The family would like to thank Phil Winters, the Staff at the Carbondale Nursing Home and the Staff at Wayne Memorial Hospital for their care and support of Buddy. Daniel is survived by a brother, Gerald Fenner and wife, Candi, Jackson, NJ, a niece, a nephew and several cousins, including Deborah Andidora. The funeral will be Friday with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church St., Carbondale. Interment will be in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township. Family and friends may visit at the church from 9:30 AM until 10: 00 AM Arrangements are by the Oliver Shifler & Scotchlas Funeral Home, Carbondale.
