Magalski, D.D.S., 90, of Richmondale, was called to eternal life on Saturday, January 31st. His wife the former, Ann Marie Sisco, passed away in 2022. Born in Simpson, he was the son of the late Leo and Victoria Bochinski Magalski. He graduated from Fell High School, Simpson and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Scranton. Dr. Magalski furthered his studies at Temple University, Philadelphia where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He also served in the Air Force. Dr. Magalski maintained a dental practice in Carbondale for over 30 years. He was a member of the Richmondale Hunting Club, and a Board member of the Simpson Industrial Redevelopment Co. He was an avid sports fan, who played on his high school baseball and basketball teams. He also enjoyed playing golf and going fishing. Dr. Magalski is survived by his three sons and their spouses, Dr. Joseph Magalski, Jr. and Dr. Leanna Giancarlo, Thomas and Jennifer Magalski, Robert Magalski and Sherry Robertson, four granddaughters, Nadia, Mary, Ella and Sophie Magalski, a brother, Frank Magalski. Dr. Magalski was preceded in death by his brother Ed. An interment service will take place in the spring at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Dr. Joseph Magalski’s name to the Richmondale Hunting Club 52 Delaware St. Simpson, PA 18407.
