Corrigan, Jr., 56, of Carbondale died Friday evening at Regional Hospital, Scranton. Born in Scranton , he is the son of JoAnn Turano Corrigan, Carbondale and the late Gerald F. Corrigan, Sr. He was a graduate of Carbondale Area High School. Prior to his illness, Jerry was a construction superintendent for Linde Corp. Jerry was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his land. He is survived by his two sons, Jerehmy Corrigan and wife Julia, Olyphant, Nathan Corrigan, Pittsburgh, three brothers, Frank and Michael, both of Carbondale and Jeffrey, Honesdale, a sister, Jennifer Thornton, Simpson, a granddaughter, Taylor, nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 14th at 9:30 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church St. Carbondale by the Rev. Kevin Miller. The family will receive friends after the mass.
