Joanne T. Oslowski, 67, of Carbondale died Wednesday at Allied Service Hospice, Scranton.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles G. and Frances States Curry.  Joanne was educated in Philadelphia public schools and most recently had been employed by J W Transportation, Carbondale as a school van driver.

Joanne is survived by a brother, David Curry and wife Lisa, and sister, Kathy Ciarlante and husband, John, nephews and nieces, Trent, David, Robert, Thomas, Michael, Kathy, Cheryl, Sandy and Jennifer. Her companion, Peter DellaRocco, his daughter, Nicole and his mother, Judy and her treasured dog, Murphy.

Local arrangements by the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., Simpson.  A  Celebration of Joanne’s Life will be held at a later date in Philadelphia.
