Joseph R Griffin
Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Michael J. & Beatrice R. Myers Griffin. He attended Carbondale Public Schools and served in the Army during WWII. Joseph had been employed by the Chamberlin Corp and later by Master’s Plaza. He was a member of St. Rose Parish.
Joseph is survived by a sister, Lillian Zulick, Carbondale and a nephew Andrew. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Fong and a niece Julie.
A Blessing Service will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Oliver Shifler & Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc. 62 N. Main St., Carbondale. Friends may call Wednesday from 9AM until 11 AM.
