Karen A. Munley Dragwa, 64, of Carbondale died unexpectedly on Sunday at Geisinger- CMC, Scranton.
Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Clair and Anna Moffitt Munley, was a devoted mother, grandmother and caretaker for years to her elderly parents before their passing. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
Karen was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale and was very devout in her Catholic faith. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and cats Kissy and Tinkerbell.
Surviving are son Lenny and wife Celeste, daughter Leah and husband Rich, two brothers Wayne and wife Norita, and Kevin and wife Patricia, four grandchildren Caiden, Kendall, Liliana and Henrik, former husband Leonard and devoted friend Mick Cerra. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph.
The funeral will be Friday from the Oliver Shifler & Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc 62 N. Main St, Carbondale with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church St., Carbondale. Interment in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.
