Linda Rose Mark, 78, of Carbondale passes away peacefully early Wednesday morning, after a several year battle with breast cancer.   Her beloved husband was Joseph “ Jiggs” Mark, who passed away in 2007.

Born and raised in Carbondale she was the daughter of the late Horatio S. and Catherine Miller Pierce. Linda was a graduate of St. Rose High School, and was employed by Gentex Corp, Simpson for 25 years.

Linda had a heart of gold and volunteered at her job every year to organize different toy drives. Her world was her family, especially her grandchildren, Ava and Michael Hull.

The family would like to thank Abington Manor for taking care of her during this long journey in her final days.

Surviving are a daughter, Holly and husband Michael Hull, who she loved like her own son, grandchildren, Ava and Michael Hull.  She enjoyed telling stories and spending time with those she loved most.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas.
