Louise A. Konosky, 71, of Carbondale died Thursday at the VNA Hospice Unit of Geisinger-CMC, Scranton.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Dorothy Denner Hencheck. She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale and had been employed by Burlington Coat Factory, Eynon prior to retirement.

She is survived by a son, Kevin Konosky and companion Lisa Matthews, Carbondale, a grandson, Lennon Marsh and a sister Joann Speicher, and a nephew.

Louise was preceded in death by a son Ronald Konosky.

The family will receive friends and share memories of Louise’s life on Saturday, November 21^st from noon to 2pm in the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc. 621 Main St, Simpson.
