Marie A. Dragwa, 94 , of Simpson died Monday evening at home. She was the widow of Joseph J. Dragwa, who died in 2022.

Born in South Canaan, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Bosak Robinson. She was a former member of St Michael’s Church, Simpson.  Marie had been employed in several dress manufacturing companies through the years as a floor lady and retired as a sewing supervisor for Gentex Corp., Simpson.

Marie enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a passion for sewing and was known for making items for family members and friends. Her cooking and baking were family favorites.

The family would like to especially thank her sister Bessie, Kathy, Donna, Jane and her sister in law Pat, Alex and Joanie for their time, help and care of Marie. They would also like to thank Home Health & Hospice and Desiree and Dr. Bekele and his office staff and especially Theresa.

Marie is survived by her four children and their spouses, Patricia Thomas, Childs, Jodi Cino and Joe, Simpson, Terry Dragwa and Rose, Waymart and Gary Dragwa and Kimberly, Browndale, six grandchildren, Michele, Melissa, Dana, Christopher, Joshua and Lindsey, four great grandchildren, Rhylie, Nathan, Hayden and Bennett, two sisters, Bessie Palmer and Jane Ovens, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Francis, Dave, Richard, Clarence and Thomas Robinson and a sister, Louise Cummings.

The funeral will be Saturday, April 26th at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, St. Rose Church, 6 N. Church St., Carbondale.  Entombment will follow at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township. Family and friends may visit at the church from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM.
