Dyrcon, 92, of Whites Crossing died Monday at Creekside Nursing Center, Carbondale. She was the widow of Joseph Dyrcon, who died in 1980. Born in Bristol, CT; she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Edward Gilland. Martha had been employed in the garment industry and retired from Waymart Knit Wear. She had attended St. Michael’s Church, Simpson. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Jr. and Michael, both of Whites Crossing, a daughter, Sharon Farell, Pfafftown, NC, a brother, Edward and a sister, Mary, five grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Martha was preceded in death by a son, Leonard. The funeral will be Friday from the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc 621 Main St., Simpson with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Michael’s Church, 46 Midland St., Simpson. Interment will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
