Weber, Mary Catherine (Farthing)(Pineau)On Thursday October 16, 2014 we said goodbye to our loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Mary Catherine Weber, of Clifford, PA (formerly from Vestal), who entered Heaven be with her Lord. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Gary; her son, Todd (Dacia) Farthing of Newark Valley; daughters, Lori Dailey of Endicott and Amy (Will) Peacock of Endicott; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Jessica) Politi, Eryn (Shaun) Duffy, Jarrod Peacock, Alyssa Dailey; great-grandchildren, Karmen Miller, Olivia Nazerenus, Emma Politi and Aubrie Duffy. Mary also had three stepchildren, Margaret Daugherty, Stanley Weber and Gary Weber Jr; nine additional grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mary was extremely close with her surviving sister, Carol Lesso (Colorado Springs, CO), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Mary Pineau; her brother, Gerald Pineau Jr; son-in-law, Michael Dailey; and daughter Kylee Farthing. Mary had a variety of jobs, including a nurse’s aide, accounting specialist and a daycare assistant. One of the things that Mary was most proud of was when she graduated from Lackawana Junior College with a degree in Accounting in June 1992. Mary’s hobbies included doing latch hook rugs and collecting beanie babies. She enjoyed going to the casino and visiting the ocean. She was a fan of the the New York Giants and Elvis. Mary also had a passion for ice cream, but most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family. Whether it was one of the grandkids staying for the weekend or calling one the kids on the phone to sing Happy Birthday to them, Mary always did her best to make everyone feel special and unconditionally loved. She also never forgot special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, etc., and like clockwork, a card would be waiting for you in the mailbox. The family will be receiving friends at Coleman & Daniels Main St. Endicott Tuesday October 21 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. for reflections and stories celebrating Mary’s life.
