I am so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Cindy, Mary and Adam. I met Mike at PSB back in the 90's and was fortunate enough to keep in contact over the years. Every meeting or phone conversation I ever had with Mike always left me with a smile.

Mike and I worked together at PSB in Nutley. I will never forget his sense of humor and driving to our Philadelphia office to help them out. He was a perfect gentleman and truly cared about his profession and people. You could always depend on Mike for anything...that’s the kind of person GOD made and I was given the opportunity to witness his kind soul. I’m devastated he’s gone and I pray that his family & friends find peace and comfort knowing Mike is with GOD and not in pain. He will always watch over the people he truly loves. R.I.P my dear friend.

My late husband, Dave Houston, and I have been friends with Mike and Cindy for many years. Mike and Dave met through work and became great friends. Mike was so kind and thoughtful to Dave. As Dave's health began to fail Mike would constantly check in with us to see if there was anything he could do to help. He was always ready to drop anything and everything for someone in need. A man with a dynamic personality, Mike's heart was even bigger! He is a dear friend who will be greatly missed. My heart and prayers are with you, Cindy. Nancy Houston

So sad to hear this. My condolences to Cynthia and his family. I remember calling Mike to inform him about our 30th class reunion back in 2006. Mike was glad to hear from me and was very upbeat and enthusiastic about attending. What a pleasure it was talking with him. Folks like Mike made me so glad I was on the reunion committee that year. RIP Mike. We'll miss you at the reunion this year. Tom Ashman Class of 76 - WWHS

to continue from above: I worked with Mike from the late 90s into the 2000s. Mike was a wonderful and helpful man who maintained his cool and sense of humor during some very challenging situations. He will be missed by so many. Our world needs more people like Mike in these very unsettling times. May you be comforted by knowing that many friends and former co-workers share your loss. With deepest sympathy, Sue & John Stankiewicz
