My soul is free to fly where it wants and to rest where it wants. –PJM Patricia Mikloiche, 72, of Carbondale, died Sunday evening at home. Her husband is Anthony M. Mikloiche, Carbondale. Born August 24, 1948, in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Kathleen Ford Palko. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church. Prior to retirement she worked as a florist. She was an avid reader and a talented artist. She liked to make greeting cards and enjoyed gardening. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Grieve not…nor speak of me with tears but laugh and talk of me…as though I were beside you so… Also surviving are a daughter Sarah Mikloiche; a grandson Joseph Krisovich, Jr.; and a sister Gail S. Palko Kubulis. She was preceded in death by a brother Gerald C. Palko. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday December 14th at 9:30am in St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale celebrated by Rev. Jeffrey J. Walsh. Internment will take place at a later date. Arrangements are through the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, 621 Main Street, Simpson.
