Obituaries » Peter Rokotz March 12, 1920 - May 18, 2015 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Peter Rokotz, 95, of Simpson, died Monday morning at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. His wife of 67 years is Helen Anastasia Herchick Rokotz. Born March 12, 1920, in South River, NJ, son of the late Alexander and Christina Sasnovich Rokotz. Peter was a member of St. Basil’s Russian Orthodox Church, Simpson and he served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He enjoyed bowling and gardening. Also surviving is a son, Peter Rokotz, Jr., Simpson; a daughter, Barbara Permuy, NJ; two grandchildren Charlene and Gillion; and a greatgrandson Aaron Peter; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a brother John, and sisters Vera Reno and Helen Olejars. Viewing will be Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m from the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home Inc., 621 Main St., Simpson.
