His wife of 35 years is the former, Donna Richardson. Born in Carbondale, November 13, 1960, he was the son of the late Anthony & Lucy Klimek Kutch. He attended Lakeland High School. Richard had been employed in security by Sugerman’ and Carbondale General Hospital. He was also a manager for the Carbondale office of The Scranton Times. Richard had attended the Assembly of God, Carbondale and was a former member of the Whites Crossing Fire Company. He enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar and harmonica. He is also survived by two daughters, Sara Kutch and companion Brian Herchik, Carbondale,Shelley Kutch and companion, Josh Johnson, Navarre,FL, a grandson, Jameson Tolan, siblings,Anthony Kutch and wife Sherry, Havelock, NC, Delores Gombita, Carbondale,Margaret Thorne, Jacksonville,FL, Rev. Joseph Kutch, Carbondale,Barbara Obloshny-Rutledge and husband Rev. James Rutledge, Whites Crossing, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Thursday at 7:00 PM in the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc. 621 Main St., Simpson with his brother and brother in law officiating.
