Daniels, 77, of Simpson died Wednesday at Allied Service hospice Unit, Scranton. His wife is the former Amelia Washeleski. Born in Honesdale, he was the son of the late Mark and Erna Margaret Comfort Daniels. Richard served in the Army National Guard. Prior to retirement, Richard was employed by Sherman Co., Hawley, and later, Cotts Co., White Mills. He enjoyed working with his hands and could make or repair most anything. He is also survived by his children, two sons, Richard Jr. and wife Melissa, Gary and wife Toni, a daughter, Darlene and son-in-law, Joe, 6 granddaughters, Jessica, Desirae, McKenzie, Ava, Addison and Ainsley and 4 great grandchildren, Madilyn, Alivia, Corbin and Bella.
