Bobby was instrumental in helping me with the General Jerry O'Malley dedication held in Carbondale City Park a few years ago. Although not personally knowing him until that time, I knew through my brother Michael that he was a compassionate, kind individual who was always willing to help out in times of need and he did just that for me during the O'Malley dedication. Bobby and Mike flew to Texas to drive the statue back to Carbondale at a critical time of need as the sculptor who made the statue became very ill and was unable to make the long drive. I will always be grateful to him and Mike for this kind deed. RIP Bobby and thanks again for your help!!!
