Obituaries » Rose Marie Kohut Kohut February 25, 1933 - January 29, 2016 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Rose Marie Kohut, 82, of Simpson died Friday having spent the past month in hospice care at the Carbondale Nursing Home. Born in Simpson, she was the daughter of the late Metro & Mary Gombita Kohut. She attended Fell Township Schools and retired from the local garment industry and then afterward, Marian Community Hospital. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church/St. Rose Parish. Rose was a very loving person who took care of both her father and mother in their later years. She also had a great affection for her feline family. She is survived by her sister, Dolores Puchalski, Simpson, and nieces, nephews, all of whom she was very close with and will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Kohut and Metro W. Kohut. A Memorial Mass will be Thursday, February 4th at 9:30 Am in St. Michael’s Church, 46 Midland St., Simpson. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Simpson. Arrangements by the Joseph W.
