Jeannie and family, I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was such a nice lady. My condolences go out to you and your family. May she Rest In Peace. God bless!
Many fond memories of Aunt Sophie. She was a very kind, caring and generous person. May she now rest in eternal peace. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our family there.
Sue, so sorry for your loss. My prayers to you and your family.
Some of the greatest memories of Aunt Sophie was when we would all gather after midnight mass to her house filled with the delicious smells and tastes of food of the Slovak Christmas...Smoked kielbasi, Horseradish with beets, baked ham, pierogi, poppy seed and nut rolls, Potato kolach, etc....I am sure others can add more of the great foods they enjoyed along with the always warm welcome you received at Uncle Joe's and Aunt Sophie's house anytime of the year! I am sure she was called to heaven at this time of year to have enough time to make all these foods again for her family waiting for her!
Growing up in the small town of Simpson, we pretty much knew everyone. Looking back, I can remember how kind your mom was and so easy to talk to. I know she will be greatly missed. Please accept our deepest condolences.
