Cemetery Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Stephen W. Lutchko, 60, of Simpson died on Saturday of a heart attack while deer hunting. Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late Adam and Theresa Boland Lutchko. Stephen was a 1983 graduate of Carbondale Area High School. He worked in logistics for his career in the following companies, Cinram, Kane Warehouse, McLane Co, Can Pack and currently Taylor Logistics. Stephen was an avid hunter and also enjoyed playing horseshoes, darts and pool. He was a member of the Moxie Club, Carbondale and a social member of the V.F.W. Post, Simpson. Steve had many friends and family who he was always there for. Whether it be lending a hand with a task or showing care and compassion. Everyone could always count on a laugh or smile when he was around. Life will surely be a lot different without him. Many hearts are broken but many are so lucky to have had him in their lives. He will be deeply missed. Stephen is survived by a son, Jason, Scott Twp., a daughter, Katlyn, Wellsboro, two brothers, John and wife Deanna, Mayfield and Adam and wife Maria, Olyphant, a sister, Theresa, Pearland, TX, nieces and nephews, Derek, Amanda, Samantha, Daria, Adam, great nieces and nephews, Evan, Aubry, Parker, Auryana, Wren, Solane, and Georgia. The funeral will be Saturday with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM, in Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church St., Carbondale. Interment will be in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township. Family and friends may visit on Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Main St., Simpson.
