Myers, 69, of Carbondale died Friday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. His wife, the former Laura J. Graham died in 2017. Born in Carbondale, he was the son of the late James T. and Nancy I. Stanley Myers. He was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale, class of 1972. Thomas served two tours in the Air Force, including during the Vietnam Era and Guam. He finished his career with the rank of sergeant. One of Thomas’ last employments was Bolus Trucking Co., Scranton as a driver. He was a member of the Carbondale First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed old movies and television shows and had an interest in family history. He is survived by four siblings, Ruth Krok, Carbondale, Esther Moehrke, Leland, N.C., Sarah Gibbons and husband Pat, Magnolia, NJ and Mark Myers and wife Judy, Carbondale, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Myers. The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, November 9th at 2:00 PM, in the First United Methodist Church, 15 N. Church St., Carbondale. Private family interment will follow at Scott Valley Cemetery, Montdale. Family and friends may visit at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
