Thomas White, 45, of Carbondale died Friday from injuries sustained in an automobile collision.

Born in Carbondale, he was the son of Kathleen Borosky White and Larry Thomas, Carbondale and Thomas and Kathleen White, Childs. He was a 1993 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Carbondale. Tom was currently employed as a sales representative for Powell’s Equipment, Justus.

Tom was an advent hunter, hardworking, caring and beloved son, brother, uncle and friend that would do anything for you. He enjoyed playing baseball and football in high school.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Jamie White, Jefferson Township and Zachary White, Childs, His Aunt “Gertie” who is like another mother to him, additional aunts, uncles, his Godson Damien White, nieces, nephews, cousins and his best friend, his dog, Daisy.

Tom was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Edward “Jim” and Janet Borosky and paternal grandparents, Nelson and Stella White.

 

A visitation will be held Sunday, October 25th from 1 to 4 pm at the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Main St., Simpson.  A Blessing service with his family will follow at 4 PM. Interment will be private.   Masks are required and social distancing rules will be observed.
