Gombita, 78, of Simpson died at home on Monday. Born in Peckville, and raised in Simpson he was the son of the late Joseph and Alice Krisiak Gombita. Walter attended Fell High School, Simpson and served in the PA Army National Guard. He was a carpenter who worked with several construction companies. For many years, he was also a caregiver to his mom and youngest brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and making wine. He is survived by his three children, Walter Gombita and Sandy, Vandling, Timothy Wally was preceded in death by three brothers, John, David and Joseph. Cremation services are by the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Main St., Simpson.
