Green Burials are selected by families who are conscience of our environment. Some of the main objectives of green burials are to decrease the carbon footprint from a funeral.  This method is less than the 350-600 lbs. of carbon emission that is generated even with most cremations. Generally the deceased is buried without embalming ( no formaldehyde), in a biodegradable casket and no burial vault.  Green cemeteries remind us of transition back to the earth and many times are fields. There are no traditional cemetery markers or memorials.  Our staff can accommodate your wishes please ask for additional information. Services are conducted at the gravesite.
