James Kellogg, 48, of Carbondale passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 9th, at Geisinger-Community Medical Center, Scranton, as the result of a heart ailment. His loving wife, Michelle, was at his bedside.
Born in Carbondale, he is the son of Harvey and Mary (Collura) Kellogg. Jimmy is survived by his wife Michelle Cosklo Kellogg, siblings, Harvey Kellogg ( Valerie Bodine), Carol and husband Michael Sabatelle and Tammy Kellogg and nephews Brad Kellogg, Michael Sabatelle, Jr and Preston Cosklo.
Jimmy had a lifelong passion for cars, motorcycles and mountain biking, known to pedal dozen of miles in a day. He raced ATV’s as a teenager, traveling as far as Texas to attend competitions. His curly dark hair and charming smile will be missed by all who knew him.
Jimmy loved his creator and looked forward to when Jesus raises him back to life in paradise to reunite with his loved ones ( John 5:28).
