Born in Passaic, NJ, he is the son of Helen Peskosky Bianchi, Simpson and the late Peter Bianchi. Alan was a 1967 graduate of Pope Pius XII High School, Passaic. He was employed by Spojnia Manor, Waymart and was also a self-employed handyman. Alan moved to Simpson about 13 years ago. Alan was an avid reader, enjoyed music and was a master at crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed spending time at the library and was a volunteer at Fell Township Election polls District #3. Alan is survived by his eight siblings, Peter and wife Anna, Rockaway Township, NJ, Ralph and wife Daisy, Basking Ridge, NJ, Brenda Bianchi, Woodland Park, NJ, Sharon Cook, Simpson, Linda and husband Greg Darley, Emmaus, Karen and husband Marvin Benson, Simpson, Janis and husband Jerry Gurnari, Dupont, Diane Biscoe, Easton, seven nieces and nephews, Joseph, Kimberly, Albert, Cemantha, Kassie, Amanda and Daniel, and seven great nieces and nephews. A Blessing Service will be conducted on Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Main St., Simpson. Friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 6 PM.
