Crocker, 87, of Union Dale died Monday night at the Forest Nursing Center. She was the wife of Charles M. Crocker. The couple had been married for 33 years. Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Stanley L. & Flossie Cora Hartley Correll. She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. Barbara had been employed as a purchasing agent for Hendrick manufacturing Co., Carbondale. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Carbondale and the Triple M Club. She also enjoyed painting and taught ceramics. Barbara is additionally survived by a step-daughter, Susan Crocker, Basking Ridge, NJ.; a step-son, Thomas Crocker, Williamsport, a sister, Alma Ely, Watkins Glen, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Irwyn Correll and a sister, Shirley Jaworski. A graveside service will be scheduled at a future date in Union Dale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 76 Terrace St., Carbondale or the donor’s favorite charity.
