Chelsea was born in Binghamton to Terry and Patricia Miles on October 9, 1978, and died at home on January 31, 2023 from COVID complications.

She is survived by her parents Terry and Patricia; siblings Frank (Michelle), Laura; nephew Frankie, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Chelsea was a happy, hardworking and creative person. From a young age she enjoyed working outside in the family garden and learning about many different flowers. Chelsea was very artistic and spent time creating intricate jewelry, cross stitching and recently began dabbling in knitting and soap making. Over the past couple of years,  she enjoyed spending time with her aunts on zoom learning how to paint with water colors. Chelsea was a selfless caregiver to her parents. Above all, she loved to laugh and make others happy so you would find her exchanging jokes or sending encouraging cards to family and friends.

As a teenager, Chelsea studied the Bible and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 7/31/93. Chelsea enjoyed studying the scriptures and sharing what she learned with others. She even ventured into learning Swahili so she could share the Bible’s encouraging message with the East African refugees in our area.

Chelsea was fascinated with history and genealogy. Her interest will be rewarded in the new world promised in the Bible, when she will get to meet all the people she eagerly learned about when they are resurrected. She sincerely looked forward to the fulfillment of Revelation 21:3-4: And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”

A memorial talk will be given on Saturday February 25 at 1:00pm on Zoom.
