Cemetery Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Daniel “Duke” Wormuth, 51, of Childs died Thursday night at home. His wife is the former Marisa Grasso, the couple had been married for 20 years. Born in Carbondale, he was the son of Ruth Cosklo Belaski, Mayfield and John Wormuth, Childs. He was a 1981 graduate of Lakeland High School and was a self-employed stone mason. He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Greek Catholic Church, Simpson. Duke was a member of the Childs Hunting Club and the Meredith Hose Co., Childs. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and his dog Diesel. He is also survived by two daughters, Susan & Mariah Wormuth, both at home, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas in 2013 and Michael. The funeral will be Tuesday, May 26th from the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc 621 Main St, Simpson with Divine Liturgy at 10: 00 AM in SS. Peter & Paul Greek Catholic Church, Rittenhouse St., Simpson to be celebrated by the Rev. Myron Myronyuk, Pastor. Interment will be in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.
