Dolores M. Lutchko, 80, of Carbondale and formerly of Simpson died Sunday evening at Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born in Simpson, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Rose Gorel Lutchko. Dolores was educated in the Fell Township schools.  Throughout the  years she had been employed by Pizza Crust and JC Manufacturing,  both of Carbondale and Gentex Corp, Simpson from which she retired.

Dolores was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church, Simpson, now St. Rose Parish.  She enjoyed traveling and trips to Atlantic City.   The family would like to thank the staff of Allied Services and Regional Hospital for their care.  A special thank you to great- nephew, Joseph Van Nort of Fairview North Carolina who allowed Dolores to spend several weeks of quality time at home prior to her passing.

She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Van Nort, Carbondale and a niece and six nephews and their spouses,, John Lutchko and Deanna, Mayfield,  Adam Lutchko  and Maria, Olyphant, Stephen Lutchko, Simpson and Theresa Lutchko, Carbondale, Dr. Joseph Van Nort and Elizabeth, Clearwater Beach, FL, Dr.  James Van Nort and Dr. Abby Gordon, Louisville, KY., and Robert Van Nort Carbondale and several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Adam Lutchko.

The funeral will be Saturday from the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc. 621 Main St., Simpson with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 Am in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church St., Carbondale.  Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Simpson.

Family and friends may visit on Friday from 6 to 8 PM.
