Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Eugene Thomas Caffery, 63, of Forest City died Monday at home. He was born and raised in Northern New Jersey but spent weekends and summers in Pleasant Mount until graduating from school. He was the son of the late Damian “Bud” and Teresa Bishop Caffery. Eugene had been employed for many years by Abby Blodnicker’s Carpentry, Forest City. Eugene was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing. Eugene later retired to the William Penn Apartments in Forest City. He is survived by a son Kyle Caffery and wife Natalie and their five children and an extended family all in Florida. A sister Carol Caffery Costabile, a nephew, Neil and niece, Jill and 2 great nieces, all of New Jersey; many cousins and good friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Damian Caffery and Lawrence “ Lauran” Caffery. Cremation services are by the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., Simpson.
