Sveda, 79, of Vandling died Thursday at home. Born in Passaic, New Jersey, he was the son of the late George and Marie Sebeck Sveda. He was a graduate of Wallington High School, Wallington, NJ. George had been employed for many years in the automotive sales business. He was employed for Wayne Lincoln Mercury, Wayne, NJ and then when he moved to Pennsylvania he was employed by Edward J. Schwarz Buick, Honesdale. George had resided in Pennsylvania for the past twenty years living in the Simpson and Vandling area. George enjoyed having his many yard sales in the summer months. He is survived by a daughter, Laura Racanelli and husband Michael, Darien, Ct and two grandchildren. There was a private cremation service by the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., Simpson.
