Born in Carbondale, he is the son of Rita Potson Krenitsky, Simpson and the late Michael Krenitsky. Jerry was a graduate of Carbondale Area High School, Class of 1978 and obtained a degree in Radiology Technology from Williamsport Community College. He had been employed by Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton prior to his disability. Jerry had attended St. Michael’s Church/ St Rose Parish, Simpson Jerry Is also survived by two sisters, Denise Krenitsky, Simpson and Michelle and husband Tim Tyson, Browndale, a niece, Tiffany Tyson. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Jr. and Joseph and a nephew, Tim Tyson Jr. A funeral mass was celebrated in St. Michael’s Church, Simpson with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
