Helen Anastasia Rokotz, 90, of Simpson died Thursday at home. She was the widow of Peter Rokotz who died in 2015.

Born in Simpson, she was the daughter of the late Michael & Natalie Zrowka Herchick. She attended Fell High School, Simpson. Helen lived most of her working life in the Passaic New Jersey Area. She had attended St. Basil’s Russian Orthodox Church, Simpson.

She is survived by a son, Peter M. Rokotz, Simpson, with whom she resided, a daughter, Barbara Permuy, Guttenberg, NJ, two grandchildren, Charlene and Gillion and a great grandson, Aaron Peter, a great granddaughter, Birdy Sue, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death six brothers, Peter, John, Michael, Joseph , Basil and Samuel.

There will be a visitation on Monday at the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc   621 Main St., Simpson from 5 to 8 pm.  A Parastas service will be held on Monday at 4:45 Pm by the V. Rev. Mitred Archpriest David J. Hritcko.
