Judith A. Borosky, 80, of Jermyn died Friday at home. She was the widow of Michael J. Borosky, who died in 2007.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Doris Denny Morrison. She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. Judy was a homemaker and caregiver to her husband, children and family.  They were her life.

She was a member of St. Michael’s Church, St Rose Parish.  Judy enjoyed yard sales, flea markets, bingo, casino trips and lottery scratch off tickets. One of her favorite pastimes was watching Penn State Football with her family.

She is survived by four daughters, Christine Borosky, Jermyn, Nicoletta  Meo-Cook, San Diego, CA,  Ann Marie Meo, Olyphant, Cindy Meo, Jermyn, two granddaughters, Maria and Marissa Grecco, a brother, Robert Morrison, Rehoboth Beach, DE, nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with “Her Boys”, Fitz and Felix.

She was preceded in death by grandson, Michael Meo and seven siblings, Carol, Jim, Jack, Bill, Donny , Marlene and Lorraine.

The funeral will be Wednesday from the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Main St., Simpson with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Michael’s Church, 46 Midland St., Simpson. Entombment will be in Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill.
