Caffery, 73, of William Penn Apartments, Forest City died Friday at home. Born in Buffalo, NY, he is the son of Teresa M. Bishop Caffery, Carbondale and the late Damian O. “Buddy” Caffery. He was a graduate of Ramsey N.J. High School, and earned an associate degree. Laurance was a navy veteran. He had been employed by Boeing Aircraft, Grumman and security at the Village of the Four Seasons. He is survived by a son, Christopher, sister, Carol and husband Neil Costabile, a brother, Eugene Caffery, two nephews, Neil and Kyle, a niece, Jill, and several great nephews and nieces.
