She was the widow of the Rev. William Tarenko, who died in 2016. Born in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of Michael and Maria Chupak. Upon her marriage to Father Tarenko, she traveled and lived at his assignments in the Waterbury Connecticut area. After his retirement, they moved to Lubbock Texas to be with their daughter. Dr. Natalie Tarenko, was their only child. A requiem funeral service will be held on Friday, October 7th at St. Tikhon’s Russian Orthodox Monastery Church, 175 St. Tikhon’s Road, South Canaan. Interment will be in St. Tikhon’s Cemetery.
