Robert F. Ogozaly, 75, of Carbondale died Friday at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton.

Born in Carbondale and raised in Simpson,  he was the son of the late John and Stella Shock Ogozaly, Sr. He attended Fell Township Schools and served in the Army. Robert was employed by Pioneer American Bank, Carbondale and Bank of America, where he retired.

Bob enjoyed playing Bingo, routing for the Steelers, and attended the Carbondale Senior Center.   Bob enjoyed cooking, baking and was proud of his Polish heritage.  He was proud of his children, grandchildren and great granddaughter.  His family was very important to him.

He is survived by four children, Laura Ogozaly, Carbondale, Beverly Ogozaly-Melching, Jacksonville, NC, Diane Ogozaly-Marsico,  Mayfield, and Frank Ogozaly, Scranton, three granddaughters, Kristen and Samantha Marsico and Ashley Daniels, a great granddaughter, Mia Judge. Bob is also survived by three sisters, Patricia Farrell, Manchester, CT., Irene Kirk, Vernon, CT., and JoAnn Petrick, Summerland Key, FL., nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Jasmine.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Eugene, Joseph, Edward, John and Donald, five sisters, Victoria Hunt, Virginia Morgan, Mary Horan, Christine Thomas and Veronica Maslona.

A Celebration of Robert’s Life and military service will follow the visitation on Saturday, April 22nd, at the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc.  621 Main St., Simpson, PA.  Friends and family may visit from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.   Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
