She was the widow of Robert J Smith, Sr who died in 1993. Born October 28, 1957, in Carbondale, daughter of the late Frank and Adella Weber Kulick. She was a graduate of Fell High School and Lackawanna Junior College. She belonged to St. Michaels Parish in Simpson. She was an avid collector of Wizard of Oz memorabilia. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Surviving are a daughter Hazel Smith, Simpson; two sons, Robert Smith, Archbald; and Frank and wife Ashley, Simpson; 4 grandchildren Ashley, Katelynn, Brayden, and Hailey; two brothers Andrew Kulick and wife Ann Christine, Mansfield, and Edmund Kulick and wife Theresa, Waymart; and two best friends Janice Walicki, Webster, NY, and Donna Pavalone, Carbondale; nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Saturday from the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Main Street, Simpson. With a blessing service at 5 pm. Friends may call from 3-5 pm.
