Caffery, 94, died Monday at Creekside Nursing Center, Carbondale. Her husband, Damian O. “Bud” Caffery died in 2000. Born in Poyntelle, she was the daughter of the late Walter Bishop and Katherine Lietinger Skvoretz and Frank Skvoretz. Teresa was a graduate of Lakewood High School and was a homemaker. She had been a member of St. James Church, Pleasant Mount. She is survived by two children, Carol Costabile, Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Eugene Caffery, Forest City, four grandchildren Chris, Neil, Jill and Kyle, seven great grandchildren and two special cousins, Joann” Boots” Preston and Fred Griffin. She was preceded in death by two sons, Laurence and Lee Damian Caffery and a brother Walter Bishop, Jr. Services will be private for the family. Arrangements are by the Joseph W.
