(Burns) Petrilak January 4, 1939 - September 29, 2021 Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Theresa Burns Petrilak, 82, of Carbondale died Wednesday at the Carbondale Nursing Home. Born in Carbondale and raised in Forest City she was the daughter of the late James & Ann Williams Burns. Theresa was a graduate of Forest City High School. She had been employed as a machine operator in the garment manufacturing industry. She is survived by two children, a daughter, Judy and husband Vince Guarino and a son Gene Petrilak, Carbondale, two grandchildren, Ivar and companion Stephanie and Clarissa and companion Jason, five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa and Paula and a sister, Kathleen Page and a brother Robert. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Agnes Cemetery, Susquehanna St., Forest City. Arrangements are by the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc., Simpson, PA.
