Victoria Baker, 72, of Greenfield Township died Friday morning at home. She was the widow of Frank Baker, who died in 2018.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Scepita Herchik. She was a graduate of Fell high School, Simpson.  Vicky had several jobs through her life but she treasured being a mother and homemaker to her family. She had attended St. Basil’s Russian Orthodox Church, Simpson.

Vicky enjoyed being in the outdoors especially hunting with her husband Frank.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra and husband Christopher Restucci, Carbondale, two granddaughters, Krystin Wiese and Jayde Fashauer, both of Greenfield Township, two brothers, Peter herchik and wife Margaret, Cresco and Samuel Herchik, Richmondale, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Frank Baker, Jr.

The funeral will be Monday with a Requiem Service at 9:30 AM in the Joseph W Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc, 621 Main St., Simpson by the V. Rev. Mitered Archpriest David J. Hritcko.  Interment will follow in St. Basil’s Cemetery, Simpson.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM.
